In 2009 there will be many that left the Lord that will return. For the Lord is a loving Father and wishes for His children to come back to Him. Some have not left the church altogether but are walking in defeat as a Christian. God wants to change our defeat to victory. The church has given up on those that the Lord has called for this end time work. It is the unlikely or the least likely people that will be used mightily in the last days. Those that have been broken, destroyed, poverty stricken, forsaken, and stripped of all things. Even those that have lost or squandered all their wealth and financial status will be restored in 2009. For this is the year of Jubilee where many will be forgiven and restored unconditionally.
God's love is and has always been unconditional. It is the church that has made Christianity into a manmade set of rules and conformity. Many came to the church to be healed, delivered, or encouraged only to leave poorer, angrier, discouraged, defeated, and alone. The failure of the church has contributed to the fall of the chosen ones. Now God is bringing back the ones that left Him or squandered His blessings as He did the prodigal son.
Luke 15:11-32
11 ¶ And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
God's people have been given all power, authority and blessings. Yet because of disobedience God's people have squandered all that the Lord has given and have nothing to show for it but affliction and trouble.
In 2009 we will see a famine of resources and finances. This famine will be brought about by the Lord. God's people will react or respond to this famine by being in want or in need.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
The Lord has shown me that this represents how God's people will look to the government to provide for them in the time of famine, yet will remain unsatisfied and starved. For the Lord says that not even the government or another person can rescue you in this season. It will require something inside of each person to move the hand of God.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
God will bring repentance to His people as they will recognize their sins and how they are totally dependent upon the Lord to live. For somewhere along the way God's people thought it was because of themselves that they were living in such prosperity. But, it was only a trick of the enemy as it was a house built upon the sand.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
God is waiting patiently for His children to repent. It is time to repent and instead of judgment you shall receive forgiveness, mercy and restoration.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
Many will feel unworthy of such forgiveness and restoration, but God will touch their hearts and rejoice in their repentance.
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
The traditional church and legalists will become angry in 2009 when people that they feel are unworthy will receive forgiveness and restoration of wealth, status and recognition. They will look at the past and remember the failures and sins of those that God is restoring in the last days. Those in high positions will be taken down and the restored Christians will climb to new heights.
Hidden Treasures Stored Up
Each Christian that lost their reputation, wealth, and lively hood will be shown hidden treasures that they did not know existed in 2009. There will be much debt forgiven and destroyed in this year. Just as the father gave his prodigal son the best, so the Lord will give His best to the repentant of heart.
Lands Restored
The Lord reminds us in Deuteronomy 6:11-12 to be careful that we don't forget who the provider is in our live.
11And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
12Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
In Deuteronomy 30:2-3 the Lord tells that if we will repent and return to Him that He shall gather us and return even our land unto us.
2And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
Challenges in 2009
The biggest challenges in 2009 will not come from the world or the government. Instead it will be from the mainstream church as men will try to hold on to their churches or ministries instead of surrendering them to the Lord. I hear all the time how it is the Pastor's church. No, it is the Lord's church to do as He pleases. In order for restoration to come the five-fold ministry must be released to bring encouragement and edification even in the midst of church services that are dominated by traditional Pastors. Pastors must recognize that they are only 1/5 of the five-fold ministry and are called to work alongside the apostles, prophets, evangelists and teachers in the last days. As people repent and come back to the Lord it is imperative that the five-fold ministry be released to operate in and out of the four walls of the church building. No where in the bible does it say only the pastor can pray for the sick, or only the pastor runs the church, or only the pastor can preach from the pulpit. This is man's law. Very much like how the priest ruled the Catholic Church, as if there is some higher authority in the pastor than in the other four offices. This is not truth and we should repent as a church family before God's correction comes to the house of God. Fear of prophecy, healing and deliverance has to be overcome as God desires to pour out His power in the last days.
Lastly, we will need to be careful as a corporate body not to judge those that God is freely forgiven and restored. God does not look at their past nor should the church.
Get Ready!!!
Your situation may look hopeless, or maybe you don't feel like a part of the body of Christ, but I tell you that if you turn back to God it will be different this time. For God has a plan and it is now that His presence and provision is being poured out to all that have an ear to hear. Come back to Him and see your situation and life transformed in 2009.
Blessings,
Prophet Michael Bacon
